On Saturday, I ran a drawing activity at Bookclub. We made line drawings focusing on outline from objects, then we turned these into books. Here are the final books and a closeup of mine.

Crane Spotting

Today I went to the London Art Book fair at Whitechapel Gallery. So many wonderful books and prints! Time to do some of my own I think. Also, here are some cranes.

Books and Faces

Once again, I had a stall at Bookface on Sunday at the Rising Sun Arts Centre. It was a great day, there were prints, artists books and workshops (and much more) and I had lots of lovely feedback.

Open for Art 2014

Today I took part of an open air art competition, organised by Jelly Reading.

I am thrilled to say that I won, based on the public vote. Well done to all who entered, it was a good atmosphere and nice to draw outside with other artists. Here are some photos of the shenanigans, thanks to R.K. for the photos.

Ready to go WST

My stall is set up and ready to go! You can find me at Redlands school (Venue 18 on the map) between 11am and 6pm today and tomorrow. I have lino and screen prints, drawings, drawings, cards and handbound books for sale. Also, you can see my sketchbooks and original transparencies for the prints. 

I will be happy to answer any questions (art related of course), see you there!
