Whiteknights Trail 2012

It is Whiteknights Trail time again. This also means it has been a year (ish) since I started this here Blog-a-tron. For the next year, I will try to keep it updated in a regular fashion, with both ongoing and completed projects. Back on topic... the trail was good again, both to catch up with local artists and tutors, and to see how their work has progressed and developed over the course of a year. This is an air ventilation system thing which caught my eye, and a goose who chased me for a while.

Not a New Website

In fact a new website under construction page thing which you can see below. A proper new website will be up before New Designers in July.

Type

I have been working on the typography for my website as of late, and my finished lettering can be seen on this blog's header. The old type can be seen below- small changes but overall the letterforms are pretty similar.

Postcard Packs

I have just finished the assembly of the postcard packs which will be available, for a donation, at the Degree Show Private View tonight. Thanks to Ines, Meria, Jenny, Kathrin and Will for all your help.

CSA Degree Show

I have my Degree Show exhibition coming up soon... the link to my page can be found here.
Here is a sneaky peak of what you can expect to see...

Another Jay

The Jays hath returned, this time in a different style. I am starting to think I should do more with this interest in birds, perhaps a book or series of cards.

Yorkshire

I have recently returned to Cambridge, having visited Yorkshire Air Museum (amongst other places). Although much smaller than Duxford, it still has a great colection of modern aircraft. Here are a few of things I was interested in.

Jay

This is a cropped section from a card design, featuring one of the Jays I encountered in Reading.
