Talking Treasures at the Fitz

Today it was good to see my finished trail for the Fitzwilliam Museum, especially ones which had been followed, filled in and drawn on.

I had a good time at the museum on Wednesday 20th and I managed to do quite a bit of drawing, mostly of different aircraft. Here is one of my favourites.

Sketchbook

These are my drawings from New Designers, which I meant to post before. 

New Designers

I have just noticed that I did not write anything about New Designers. However, I did go to Part 2 on 9th July and it was jolly good... although rather daunting to think that I will be thinking about it in less than a year (gulp). If only I could find my sketchbook then i would post the sketch i did at the Business Centre- when i find it I shall certainly do so.

Book making at the Fitz

Yesterday Svetlana Taylor, a book restorer at the Fitzwilliam Museum, helped us to decide which books to make at children's workshops on the 23rd July. This is one of the two we picked- a lovely little book which is made from a single length of paper, folded in such a way that it creates little pockets.

Fitz Families

Today I was drawing in the 'Greece and Rome' gallery at the Fitzwilliam museum and whilst the families were focusing on eyes, I thought a sustained drawing session was in order...
